France's AccorHotels strikes bargain to purchase Chile hotel group Atton

as informed in PARIS (Reuters) - French group AccorHotels (ACCP.PA) has agreed to purchase the management Inc. behind Chile's Atton Hotels for around $105 million, in a bargain that AccorHotels said would boost its earnings & strengthen its position in Latin America. The Atton Hotels bargain marks the latest example of AccorHotels' ambitious takeover plans, & follows its acquisition final 30 days of Movenpick Hotels. AccorHotels going to acquire hundred % of the management Inc. that operates eleven Atton hotels across Chile, Peru, Colombia & Florida in the United States. The French group said the Atton takeover would boost its earnings from the premier year of the bargain being completed. Previous acquisitions under AccorHotels' chief executive Sebastien Bazin, who took over in 2013, involve London's Savoy Hotel, The Plaza in Fresh York, the Raffles Hotel in Singapore & Australian hotel group Mantra.

The Atton Hoteles bargain marks the latest example of AccorHotels' ambitious takeover plans, & follows final month's acquisition by AccorHotels of Movenpick Hotels. AccorHotels going to acquire hundred % of the management Inc. that operates eleven Atton hotels across Chile, Peru, Colombia & Florida in the United States. AccorHotels going to too purchase 20 % of the property Inc. that owns these assets, by the residual 80 % being purchased by Chilean Inc. Algeciras. AccorHotels going to too have an option to purvey its 20 % in that property Inc. to Algeciras after 5 years.
