Younes envisions new five-story hotel and 100,000-square-foot conference center
KEARNEY — Paul Younes intends to build another hotel and convention center. Plans include a five-story, 164-unit hotel and 100,000-square-foot conference center, to be built west of Younes' Hampton Inn near Sixth Avenue and Talmadge Street in south Kearney. The convention center will accommodate gatherings of up to 2,500 people and will have 850 parking stalls and a full industrial kitchen. The complex will stand within blocks of the 70,000-square-foot Younes Conference Center that opened in 2010 and, according to Younes, has outperformed expectations. "It's above our expectations, otherwise, I would not add to the space we have right now," he said about the conference center and plans to add more meeting and gathering space with the 100,000-square-foot convention center. This new hotel chain is changing the accommodation game in Europe
